The Anderson Group worked with Marineland to launch a brand new, forward-thinking concept for marine-aquarium retailers and hobbyists—a Smart Design Center that allows consumers to custom-configure their aquarium setups according to their own unique visions. Consumers can choose from standard-sized and Deluxe Deep aquariums, numerous finishes for wooden stands and canopies, a broad range of filtration equipment, sophisticated new lighting arrays, and even optional ultra-clear tank glass. The entire new range of products is referred to as the Marine Series.
In addition to creating the Smart Design Center itself, which is being rolled out to retailers beginning in the spring, The Anderson Group also created a Smart Design Guidebook and four-color takeaway brochures for the Center, as well as four-page, full-color inserts for promoting the Marine Series through trade and consumer magazines.
To further heighten awareness of the new product line among the trade, The Anderson Group created a detailed launch press kit and coordinated all public relations activities leading up to the national unveiling of the Marine Series and the Smart Design Center in February at the Global Pet Expo™ trade show in San Diego. We also created, as excitement-building preliminaries to the Expo, an email blast and teaser advertisements for key trade magazines.
Following the initial posting of this news byte, Marineland was notified by the organizers of Global Pet Expo that the company has won a top award for its outstanding Marine Series introduction.
