McCarthy Engineering Associates (MEA) delivers engineering excellence through relationships based on trust, communication and results. A forward-thinking and results-driven company, they were faced with the challenge of how to communicate their brand internally to current and new employees.

They turned to The Anderson Group to work with them during a half-day leadership model training session with their leadership team to help figure out how to better lead employees to high performance. Since McCarthy “grows their own” talent right out of college, their challenge was to evaluate prospective employees against their high standards.

Developing a leadership model allowed clear communication to current and potential talent on the accountability, responsibility and leadership for all. One of the outgrowths of this internal seminar was to create career ladders for each level of engineers which outlines the tactical and people skills necessary to succeed at McCarthy. Clear communication is the first step in creating leaders.  

The Anderson Group has crafted internal brand and leadership tools to motivate all employees to perform as leaders, so that the next steps to achieving their goals could come naturally.
