The Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation in Pennsylvania needed an engaging and affordable way to help local families take small steps that could lead to big changes in their health and well-being. The Anderson Group helped the Foundation develop the concept of Mission Good Nutrition, an original and fun half-hour TV program for local cable. We created the distinct name and logo to support this unique brand experience. In addition, we designed tasty graphics for the set backgrounds and continue to recommend monthly program topics of great interest to viewers.
Each 3-segment show features a cooking demonstration using delicious, nutritious recipes; a conversation focusing on easy-to-follow tips for healthier eating and living; plus an interview with area experts to help people feel their best.
Today the concept has expanded beyond the popular TV show to include community outreach and an online community via www.pottstownfoundation.org. Since the show’s inception in 2007, there has been a 45% increase in page views, a 72% increase in visitor sessions, and a 52% increase in first time visitors. A new and separate website, www.missiongoodnutrition.org, was added in 2009.
